There hasn't been a lot of innovation in games this console cycle. Yes some bring something new to the game, but as for innovation not so much.
The only game that is innovative this generation IMO is Little Big Planet. though not my cup of tea, but I can see the innovation in that game. Though I heart my XBOX, I can't think of one game that is purely innovative??

I think part of the problem is that American games don't feature sex, or prelude to sex, is that anyone can get a hold of a M-rated game. Unlike lets say a real porno movie. So when little Johnny comes home with a video game that mom and dad think is just a GAME. And then they see nudity is said game they freak out. They view games as toys and toys and sex dont mix.

So instead of developers working on two cross platform titles, now they are going to be working on three. Right now one or the other console gets the slightly poorer port though. Now imagine that times three?? I think it would ruin the gaming industry as it is right now!!
I agree with you Nick. It is the best piece of console DLC ever. I think it will pave the way for even better DLC in the future. I still wonder what kinda of numbers it sold?
